The report acknowledges its own weaknesses, saying, "There are no import/export data for this industry. For reference, we are using the Other Rubber Product Manufacturing industry (NAICS - 32629). The total import export value for the year 2006 was $3802 million. There were 176 countries that conducted foreign trade with the US in 2006, 1 fewer than year 2005. The top trading countries were: Canada, $1188 million (31.24 percent); China, $513 million (13.49 percent); Mexico, $489 million (12.87 percent); Japan, $262 million (6.89 percent); and Germany, $183 million (4.82 percent). Their combined total represents approximately 69 percent of all imports and exports. "
