China's August natural rubber import up 43 pc
Beijing -- China imported 165,419 tonnes of natural rubber in August, representing a 42.9 percent year-on-year rise, according to the country's General Administration of Customs.
In the first eight months of this year, China imported 1.02 million tonnes of natural rubber, increased by 19.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
As the world's largest importer of natural rubber, China main suppliers are Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
