Goodway to set up retreading, compounding units in China
Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian rubber compounder Goodway, is planning to expand its activities into China, according to a local newspaper report. The Edge paper quoted chief executive officer Tai Boon Wee, speaking after the company's AGM, held in KL. He reportedly said the company is planning a compounding unit in Jiangsu, capable of making up to 200 tonnes of compound per month. The paper
In addition, said the report, Goodway will build a tyre retreading unit in Shanghai, capable of making 250 000 pre-cured units a month.
