Conti to select Chinese site later this year - report
Frankfurt - Continental AG will select a site for its Chinese tyre factory later this year, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeiting (FAZ), quoting Manfred Wennemer, Conti's chief executive.
The newspaper said Conti is currently looking at two sites and will make its choice during 2006. The report did not mention an investment figure, but Conti has previously said that the company has budgeted investments of around Euro 300 million for the China project.
