Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany-Klaus Zimmermann retired from his post as managing director for German retreader Ellerbrock Reifenrunderneuerungs-Technologie GmbH on 30 June after 30 years with the group.

Zimmerman is replaced by Dirk Rohmann, as managing director of marketing and sales and Matthias Leppert as managing director of technology

The firm, based in Henstedt-Ulzburg in the north of Hamburg, is a subsidiary of Marangoni Tread SpA of Rovereto, Italy. Zimmermann will remain active on the retread material supplier's advisory committee.

The firm has a new production hall at its site, following a major fire in late 2003. Ellerbrock mixes and processes 15 kilotonnes of retread material a year at Henstedt-Ulzburg.
