Arp promoted to V-P Ford Motor Co.
Dearborn, Michigan--Ford Motor Co. announced that Fredrik Arp is elected a vice president of the Company, effective September 1, 2005.
Last month, Ford announced Arp's appointment as president and chief executive officer of Volvo Cars Corp., reporting to Fields. He succeeds Hans-Olov Olsson, who will become Volvo Cars' chairman of the board. Arp presently serves as president and CEO of Trelleborg AB, a Sweden-based global auto industry supplier specializing in advanced polymer technologies.
