Phoenix changes management board

    Hamburg, germany--The Supervisory Board of Phoenix AG has made several decisions regarding the restructuring of the Management Board at its meeting on 1 April 2005. The Supervisory Board decided to expand the Management Board of Phoenix AG from two to three Board members.

    The Supervisory Board appointed Gerhard Lerch and Heinz-Gerhard Wente to Phoenix AG's Management Board effective 1 April 2005. Hans-Joachim Zwarg, Chief Officer of Finance, Accounting and information Technology of Phoenix AG will resign from the Management Board on 1 April 2005. Meinhard Liebing will continue his post on the Management Board as its speaker.
