Chronos launches new control system
Chronos Richardson is using the tire technology expo to launch its latest control system, the CR 600 XP.
According to Martin Roe, regional sales manager for batching systems, the new system is based on industry-standard technology. It runs on WIndows XP, he said, and the data storage and management system is based around the SQL database.
The main benefit of the new system, said Roe, is that users can now manipulate the data in any way they like, because it is based around non-proprietary technology. Users with many sites can integrate the data coming out of the 600XP system with the rest of their corporate data, and create their own reports and customised data management systems, he said.
The new control system costs from £30 000 (Euro 50 000) up to £200 000 (Euro 300 000), depending on the size of the installation.
