India says NR consumption to grow 4.4% in 2004
Data from the Rubber Board of India, presented at the World Rubber Congress in Kochi, India indicates that consumption of natural rubber will continue to grow, at around 5 percent annually over the next few years.
The statistics showed that more rubber was being used in producing countries, with exports of NR falling to 71 percent of production in 2003, compared with 95 percent in the 1960s.
