Polybutadiene: it really is rocket science
Space.com has a long article on the use of polybutadiene as a rocket fuel in SpaceShipOne, expected to be the first non-governmental crewed vehicle to reach space when it is launched on June 21. The developers say it is a stable, cheap fuel, compared with other types of rocket propellant.
