Revertex signs JV in Kerala
Revertex Malaysia Sdn Bhd has signed a joint venture agreement with Kerala-based Kurian Abraham Pvt Ltd (KA Latex) which allows the Indian firm to make Revertex products under licence. The joint venture company has been named Revertex KA Latex India Pvt Ltd and will offer a range of pre-vulcanised latex products used in the manufacture of medical goods, dipped latex goods and sports goods.
The Indian plant will be Revertex' fourth plant after Malaysia and Thailand and is due to begin production by June 2004. The companies did not say what each company will bring to the JV, but it is thought Revertex is bringing technology, while KA is providing manufacturing facilities.
