India exports 60 kt rubber in first 11 months
Indian exports of natural rubber reached 61.2 kt in the first 11 months of the fiscal year 2003-04. The Rubber Board of India said the target for the period had been 50 kt. Of the 61 kt, just 52 percent was sheet rubber, the remainder was technically-specified grades. A year earlier, 79 percent of exports had been sheet grades. India expects total rubber production in fiscal 2003=04 to reach 711 kt.
