Cooper signs NVH deal with Korean company
Cooper-Standard Automotive has signed
a technical assistance agreement with Daekyung Chemical Corporation of South Korea. Cooper-Standard's NVH Control Systems Division will provide design and engineering development support for engine mount systems on three future Hyundai and Kia vehicle platforms.
"This is an outstanding opportunity for Daekyung and Cooper-Standard Automotive as we team up to provide engine mount system technology for Hyundai and Kia," said Allen Campbell, vice president, controller, and Asian Operations.
Cooper-Standard Automotive is an operating unit of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, headquartered in Findlay, Ohio.
