New Delhi – India’s ‘compounded rubber’ exports rose 45.8% year-on-year to 6,526 tonnes in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, which started 1 April.
In a 21 Aug social media post, the Indian Department of Commerce said the growth reflected “rising demand and expanding opportunities for Indian rubber products in global markets”.
The latest quarterly exports were up from 4,476 tonnes in April-June 2025-26, with the department saying the momentum “highlight[s] the growing global footprint of India’s rubber sector”.
For the full fiscal year 2025-26, the department said compounded rubber exports increased 12.7% to 19,261 tonnes, from 17,085 tonnes in 2024-25.
