ECCMR, IRC and tire wear meeting headline remaining 2026 schedule
London – The UK’s Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) Elastomer Group has outlined its autumn programme, including the European Conference on Constitutive Models for Rubber (ECCMR) in Oxford and the International Rubber Conference (IRC) in Nagoya, Japan.
The 14th ECCMR will take place in Oxford 9-11 Sept and will focus on advances in rubber mechanics, material behaviour and simulation techniques, said IOM3 12 Aug.
The conference will bring together academic and industry specialists and will feature more than 90 presentations.
IOM3 is also supporting IRC 2026, which will take place at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname City, near Nagoya, 2-6 Nov under the theme “Future rubber technology toward sustainability.”
Registration for the conference is open, while the co-located 'rubber and elastomer technical exhibition' will be free to attend.
The IOM3 Elastomer Group’s final event of 2026 will be held at its London headquarters 11 Dec under the theme “Elastomers: Tire wear and the environment.”
Looking ahead, IOM3 said RubberCon 2027 will take place in Xian, China, 12-13 May, followed by IRC 2027 in Cleveland, 27-30 Sept.
