ERJ China Tire Report 2026: Major players build on strong rebound recorded a year ago
London - Sales among China’s largest tire makers increased by 7.2% year-on-year to around $40,175 million in 2025, ERJ’s analysis of data supplied by the China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) shows.
Just slightly off the growth rate of 8.3% recorded for 2024 sales, the figures point to considerable resilience across the Chinese tire sector in the face of increasing global trading challenges throughout last year.
Gains in this year’s ERJ China Tire Report included an impressive 19.1% increase in sales at Zhongce Rubber Co. Ltd (ZC Rubber), reinforcing its long-held position at the top of the company rankings.
Similarly, with an 18.6% year-on-year increase in revenue, nearest rival Sailun Tyre consolidated its position on the table, having leapfrogged Qingdao Doublestar to take second slot last year.
While next placed Shandong Linglong, Prinx Chengshan and Double Coin all registered significant growth, slight revenue declines were recorded for Guizhou Tyre and Triangle Group.
Completing this year’s top 10 were Qingdao Sentury Tire with a 3.2% year-on-year increase in sales and Jiangshu Tongyong which moved up three places with an impressive 24.3% gain.
Other notable movers included Shangdong Huasheng Rubber, Aeolus Tyre and Wanli Tyre with year-on-year sales increases in 2025 of 11.4% 13.4% and 22.4% respectively.
The CRIA figures indicated a general trend - with exceptions - of positive revenue development among China’s largest tire makers versus declines among players further down the sales rankings.
