Order from a European NATO nation to support 2027 expectations
Melksham, UK – Avon Technologies' 'protection' business has received a $10.8 million (€9.4 million) order from "an existing European NATO nation" under the NATO Support & Procurement Agency (NSPA) framework contract.
The order covers FM50 twin-filter air-purifying respirators (APR), FM61EU filters and accessories, and will support the ongoing modernisation of protective equipment for military personnel.
According to Avon, the FM50 is a twin-filter full-face respirator designed to NATO military requirements, offering lower breathing resistance and improved wearer comfort while providing continuous respiratory protection in hazardous environments.
The company said the order further supports its expectations for the 2027 financial year.
Avon Protection currently supplies respiratory systems to 16 NATO nations under the NSPA framework, which the company said provides "a strong platform for repeatable demand" as customers continue to modernise and standardise their CBRN protection equipment.
