Departure not related to financial or operating results or to any disagreements
Akron, Ohio – Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has announced that its EVP and chief financial officer Christina Zamarro is leaving the group to pursue “another opportunity”.
In a 26 June SEC filing, the US tire maker said Zamarro will step down from her current position 30 June, and leave Goodyear 10 July.
The departure, it said, “is not related to the company’s financial or operating results or to any disagreements with the company regarding the company’s financial, operational, accounting or reporting policies or practices.”
Goodyear has named Scott Deakin, as interim EVP and CFO, effective 1 July, while carrying out “a comprehensive search” to find Zamarro’s successor.
Previously, Deakin was CFO of construction products wholesaler Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc.
