Event to bring researchers and industry specialists to Oxford in September
Oxford, UK – Registration has opened for the European Conference on Constitutive Models for Rubber (ECCMR), which will be held by the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) in Oxford 9-11 Sept.
In an 18 June statement, IOM3 Elastomer Group, chaired by Prof James Busfield, said it will be running ‘European conference on constitutive models for rubber XIV’ (ECCMR 2026) on behalf of the ECCMR International Science Committee.
Held every two years, the conference will bring together researchers and industry specialists working in elastomers, testing and simulation to discuss the latest developments in rubber modelling.
The programme will feature plenary lectures, technical presentations and poster sessions covering advances in constitutive modelling for rubber.
All accepted papers will be published in the official conference proceedings and distributed to delegates, according to the organisers.
The event, according to IOM3, will offer “an exceptional opportunity” for participants from academia, research organisations and industry to exchange ideas and share developments in the field.
Conference partners include Endurica, SPC Rubber Compounding, Birla Carbon and Sumitomo Rubber Industries.
