Waalwijk, The Netherlands – Magna Tyres Group has acquired Belgian tire specialist and mobility services provider Forrez, marking the sixth acquisition completed by the company in recent years.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in Belgium, Forrez operates in tire services, fleet solutions, industrial tires and vehicle maintenance, serving customers in the transport, industrial, agricultural and automotive sectors.
In an 8 June statement, the off-the-road and industrial tire manufacturer said the acquisition is part of its strategy to expand its international footprint through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.
Magna Tyres, said president Michael de Ruijter, has a long-term vision: “building a strong international organisation with local expertise at its core."
"Forrez is an excellent fit.... Their reputation, technical knowledge and customer-focused culture align perfectly with our strategy and values," he added.
According to Magna Tyres, the combined group is expected to generate annual turnover of around €275 million in 2026.
Commenting on the deal, Forrez partners Christine Forrez and Geert Mertens said joining Magna marked "an important new chapter" for the Belgian company.
The merger will give Forrez access to "an international network, additional expertise and new growth opportunities."
Forrez will continue to operate under its existing name and management structure.
