ERJ spotlights leading-edge elastomer/rubber design, materials and manufacturing technologies
Ansell has launched a new range of industrial gloves designed to deliver advanced cut protection while supporting lower environmental impact.
The HyFlex ‘sustainable cut resistance’ series is designed for light-to-medium tasks and constructed using a “newly developed eco-yarn, delivering cut resistance without metal or glass fibres that can cause irritation, poking, or liner breakage.”
More than 50% of total weight is made from recycled polyester sourced from post-consumer PET bottles, helping to reduce CO2 emissions by around 25%.
A DMF-free polyurethane coating provides up to four times greater wear resistance than standard PU coatings, the company release added.
