Toyoda Gosei innovation being used on instrument panels of the Toyota bZ7 model
Kiyosu, Japan – Toyoda Gosei (TG) has developed a vent for automotive air conditioners with an unobtrusive aperture, which are being used on instrument panels of the Toyota bZ7 launched this March in China.
The sleek design is in-line with trends to make vehicle interiors more comfortable, relaxing spaces akin to living rooms, said a 17 April company press release
Developed using flow analysis simulation technology, TG said the airflow direction control mechanism optimises the flow of air: enabling it to hide the fins to adjust the air flow up and down.
"The seamless design of the instrument panel integrates the vent without deteriorating air conditioning comfort," the Kiyosu-based company added 17 April.
