Study to assess viability of ELT recycling plants using Enviro’s proprietary technology
Stockholm – Scandinavian Enviro Systems has signed a letter of intent with an undisclosed party regarding the potential licensing of its end-of-life tire (ELT) pyrolysis technology for projects in North America.
Under the agreement, the parties will conduct a study to assess the commercial and technical viability of “one or several” ELT pyrolysis plants based on Enviro’s technology, said the Swedish company 17 March.
The study is intended to “evaluate the conditions for a potential long-term commercial collaboration and technology licensing agreement.”
Enviro noted that any future agreement remains subject to the outcome of the study and subsequent negotiations.
The company added that there was no assurance the process will “result in any binding agreements or that a transaction will be completed.”
“We continue to see strong international interest in Enviro’s technology and this letter of intent is yet another proof of this,” said CEO Fredrik Aaben.
