Guanajuato, Mexico – Automotive hose manufacturer Tristone Flowtech is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Mexico with a new factory in Queretaro.
Construction of the new facility began on 6 Jan at the Amexhe Industrial Park in Guanajuato, according to a 10 Jan social media post by parent company Anhui Zhongding Group.
The project forms part of Zhongding’s global growth strategy and aims to strengthen Tristone’s production and service capabilities in the Americas.
The plant will have a total construction area of around 60,000 sq.m., with the first phase covering 37,000 sq.m., said the social media post.
Completion is scheduled for the end of 2026, with operations expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
The new site will build on Tristone’s existing operations in Chihuahua and Delicias, Mexico.
Zhongding said the investment is intended to support nearshoring strategies, improve local supply responsiveness and enhance supply chain resilience for customers in the Americas.
Tristone is a Frankfurt, Germany-based manufacturer of automotive rubber hoses and related components which was acquired by Zhongding Group in 2017.
