Timo Koponen appointed as CFO of Finnish tire maker
Nokia, Finland – Nokian Tyres has named Timo Koponen as chief financial officer (CFO) and a member of the management team, effective 15 April.
He will replace Niko Haavisto, who left the company in May last year.
Jari Huuhtanen, VP, group business control, will continue in the interim CFO role, until Koponen takes over the role.
Koponen joins Nokian Tyres from Normet, a mining and tunnelling technology company, where he served as CFO and a member of the leadership team.
Prior to Normet, he held senior finance and business leadership roles at Lamor Corp., Wartsila, Hackman, and Konecranes.
