Michelin renews Menegaux's mandate as Yve Chapot departs

Clermont-Ferrand – Michelin has renewed the mandate of its managing partner Florent Menegaux and proposed Philippe Jacquin as a new non-managing partner, it was announced 12 Jan.
The decision, Michelin said, was made by was non-managing general partner Société Auxiliaire de Gestion (SAGES) and approved by Michelin’s supervisory board, chaired by Barbara Dalibard.
The renewed term will take effect after Michelin’s next annual general meeting, scheduled for 22 May.
SAGES and the supervisory board said the decision reaffirmed their confidence in Menegaux and in his leadership of the group.
Michelin noted that chief financial officer and general manager Yves Chapot had chosen not to seek renewal of his mandate.
Following consultation with the supervisory board, SAGES has proposed Philippe Jacquin as a new non-managing partner.
According to his social media profile, Jacquin currently serves as EVP Research & Development, supervising the “innovation & partnerships corporate direction” at Michelin.
