Plans to support domestic growth while positioning the company for further expansion in overseas markets
Zhuhai, China – Wanli Tire has set out its growth priorities for 2026 highlighting overseas expansion plans, the start-up of its Cambodia manufacturing base, and record domestic passenger car tire sales in 2025.
At its annual dealer conference held 6 Dec in Zhuhai, Wanli said domestic semi-steel tire sales reached a new high in 2025, supported by the launch of the "e-era premium product range" and strength in the replacement market.
Wanli also confirmed that its Cambodia plant had entered production (ERJ report), creating a complementary overseas manufacturing base alongside its China operations.
According to the company, the new manufacturing facility will strengthen its supply-chain resilience and support future international market expansion.
At the event, Jing Guangjun, chairman of parent Guangzhou Industrial Investment, said: "We will deepen capacity expansion and overseas deployment, [with] additional international production bases.”
Wanli chairman Cao Xiandong, meanwhile, reported that the company had achieved "double-digit revenue growth" in 2025 despite a challenging market environment.
“Wanli will continue to strengthen innovation, expand its global layout and safeguard supply chain security, serving as a solid partner for our dealers,” he stated.
In 2026, Wanli said it will advance a 'seven-pillar' strategy: focusing on innovation, products, quality, OE fitment, marketing, service and strategic planning, to support sustained growth and dealer competitiveness.
At the conference, Wanli also unveiled its 2026 product roadmap, with plans to accelerate upgrades of high-end and EV tires, while improving performance across light truck, off-road and all-steel tire segments.
The company additionally launched a new digital integrated R&D platform, aimed at improving product development efficiency and quality consistency.
