Call for input: Feature on 6PPD and related issues

The January/February 2026 issue of European Rubber Journal magazine will include a feature on progress with the development of alternatives to the use of 6DDP anti-ozonant/oxidant agents in tire & rubber compounds.

This will focus on R&D work at suppliers of rubber chemicals and synthetic rubber materials as well as tire manufacturers and other companies and organisations leading the search for more sustainable alternatives.

We are also inviting ERJ readers to provide news and views - by 12 Jan - on this important topic and the wider issues around pressures on the tire & rubber industry to meet increasingly strict and costly environmental regulations.
