Suppliers including Birla Carbon, Cabot and Solvay recognised for sustainability performance
Gurugram, India – Apollo Tyres has recognised a group of key suppliers at its 'sustainable procurement summit 2025', held with more than 800 supplier representatives from over 20 countries.
Awards were presented to Birla Carbon, Cabot, EQ Rubber, Hyosung, Milliken, OCCL, Performance Additives, Solvay, Synthos, Teck Bee Hang and Xingda.
Recognition covered areas including environmental management, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement practices.
The Apollo summit brought together suppliers from five continents to discuss sustainability expectations across the company’s global value-chain.
Added a 9 Dec release, the event focused on Apollo’s ‘sustainability roadmap 2030’ and its approach to embedding related requirements into procurement and supplier engagement.
Discussions, it added, also addressed the impact of emerging regulations and changing customer expectations on supply-chains.
Supplier-engagement are central to Apollo's sustainability strategy and the awards recognise partners demonstrating “measurable impact” across the key criteria, said Apollo.
