Over 20 speakers to give snapshot talks on current challenges and solutions for the rubber industry
London – The IOM3 Elastomer Group (IOM3EG) has lined up an interesting Christmas ‘afternoon technical discussion meeting’, to take place 19 Dec at its London HQ.
The ‘Elastomer Industry & Academia Networking’ forum will feature more than 20 speakers, each giving five-minute talks on their current challenges and solutions.
Presenters from industrial companies and universities will cover a wide range of rubber-related topics at the in-person event, noted a group announcement.
Areas of discussion will include: experimental challenges; sustainability; circular economy; computational modelling; self-healing chemistry; and smart applications.
The event, added IOM3EG, is aimed at R&D staff, academics, synthesis experts, computational modellers in industries ranging from tires, rail, and aerospace to bio-medical and fashion.
The call for papers is open until 5 Dec.
