Kajsa Ryttberg-Wallgren appointed new CEO of tire pyrolysis joint venture
Stockholm – Scandinavian Enviro System and its joint venture partners – Antin Infrastructure Partners and Michelin – have appointed Kajsa Ryttberg-Wallgren as the new CEO of end-of-life tire pyrolysis JV Infiniteria.
Effective 1 Dec, the appointment will see Ryttberg-Wallgren succeeding Stefano Madeddu.
The CEO change marks the start of a new leadership in Infiniteria “with a focus on industrial logic and value creation,” said Enviro in a 1 Dec statement.
Ryttberg-Wallgren was most recently with green steel company Stegra, where she served as ‘chief growth officer’ since 2021.
According Enviro, Ryttberg-Wallgren has “extensive experience” in industrial operations and in establishing new businesses worldwide having held leading roles in several Scandinavian companies, including PIAB, Yara International, Sandvik, and Sapa.
Ryttberg-Wallgren “offers a strong combination of Swedish industrial experience, a track-record in international expansion and strong sustainability credentials,” said Anand Jagannathan, senior partner of Antin Infrastructure Partners NextGen strategy.
Enviro is currently building a full-scale tire recycling plant outside Uddevalla, Sweden, which will become Infiniteria’s first ELT pyrolysis facility.
The JV has previously announced plans to establish additional tire recycling plants across Europe, using Enviro’s technology.
