IoM3 Elastomer Group outlines 2026 events schedule

Christmas afternoon technical discussion meeting set for 19 Dec at IOM3 London HQ
London –The K’s Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IoM3) Elastomer Group has set out its programme of activities for the coming year, including major technical meetings and support for three global IRCO conferences.
In its November update, the London-based group confirmed it will host the 14th European Conference on Constitutive Models for Rubber (ECCMR) from 9–11 Sept 2026 in Oxford.
Described as a “leading conference dedicated to the advancement of constitutive modelling,” the event will cover rubber mechanics, material behaviour and simulation techniques. The call for papers is open until 5 Dec 2025.
The group will also hold its Christmas afternoon technical discussion meeting at IOM3 headquarters on 19 Dec.
The in-person “elastomer industry & academia networking” session and will feature more than 20 five-minute pitches from companies and universities, with room for “a few more topics.”
IOM3 said it will continue its role as a partner of the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO) and will support three IRCO events over the next year:
• IRC 2025, Bangkok, 1–3 Dec 2025 — programme confirmed and registration open
• RubberCon 2026, Paris, 28–29 Apr 2026 — call for papers open until 21 Nov 2025
• IRC 2026, Nagoya, 2–6 Nov 2026 — website launched; abstract submission open until early Feb 2026
Furthermore, IoM3 said that as part of a rebranding exercise, the Elastomer Group will move to a new subscription system in 2026.
