New ‘strategic hub’ in Akron to strengthen presence in US rubber industry alongside "key customer Goodyear"
Akron, Ohio – Italian rubber mixing machinery maker G3 Mixing Technologies is set to open its new US headquarters in Akron, the company has announced.
The choice of Akron underlines G3’s commitment to being closer to its clients, including Akron-based Goodyear, and supporting them with “state-of-the-art technologies and local services,” said the machinery maker.
The inauguration event is scheduled to take place on 20 Nov with the participation of international clients and local institutions and will include presentations, a guided tour of the new premises, and a networking reception.
“We are proud to open our new headquarters in Akron, a city with a rich industrial heritage and the beating heart of the rubber industry in the US,” said Pierpaolo and Pierluigi Gagliardi, board members of G3 Mixing Technologies.
“This investment confirms our ambition to grow internationally and provide US customers with faster, more direct access to our solutions.”
The new Akron hub will serve as a reference point for sales, technical support, and demonstration of lab-scale and industrial mixing technologies.
