Vredestein opens first “exclusive store” in India

Coimbatore, India – Apollo Tyres Ltd has opened the first ‘exclusive retail outlet’ for its premium European tire brand, Vredestein, in Coimbatore, southern India.

The store is designed to cater to the city’s luxury and high-performance vehicle market and mark’s a significant step in Vredestein’s retail expansion since entering India in 2021 with locally manufactured tires.

“Coimbatore’s thriving community of auto enthusiasts makes it an ideal market,” said Rajesh Dahiya, VP commercial at Apollo Tyres.

The new store, he said, will offer “a premium range of high-performance tires for luxury cars and superbikes.”

Dahiya added that Vredestein aims to become “the go-to destination for driving enthusiasts” through a mix of product quality and service.

The store features modern layouts and segmented displays by driving style, from off-road to ultra-high-performance models.

Apollo said the new outlet reflects its strategy to strengthen Vredestein’s presence in India’s fast-growing premium tire market.
