New ultra-high-performance tire offers improved control, grip and longevity
Brussels – Bridgestone has unveiled the Potenza Sport EVO, an ultra-high-performance tire developed with Enliten technology for enhanced control, wet grip, and extended mileage.
Compared to the Potenza Sport, the new version delivers a 5% shorter braking distance on wet roads and 15% greater mileage, equivalent to around 6,000 additional kilometres, Bridgestone said 12 Nov.
Rolling resistance has been reduced by up to 6%, improving fuel efficiency and EV range.
“The Potenza Sport EVO is built for high-performance vehicles and drivers, whatever the powertrain,” said Stefano Sanchini, VP consumer replacement at Bridgestone EMEA.
The tire features a “high-stiffness compound” for stability during cornering, supported by a “hybrid crown reinforcement and stiff carcass design.”
A new polymer compound with ‘optimised inorganic fillers’ and refined tread pattern improve abrasion resistance and wet handling.
Developed and produced in Europe, the Potenza Sport EVO will launch in 139 sizes across 17–23 inches, expanding its market coverage to 92% of the sports tire segment.
The first 92 sizes will be released in January 2026, with the remainder in 2027.
