Ordinary Court of Rovereto accepts petitions for liquidation filed by Marangoni Meccanica, one of its creditors
Rovereto, Italy – A local court has declared the opening of judicial liquidation proceedings against Marangoni Meccanica S.p.A., marking the formal end of the company’s earlier attempt to restructure its debt.
In a ruling dated 23 Sept 2025, the Ordinary Court of Rovereto closed the company’s composition with creditors procedure and accepted petitions for liquidation filed both by Marangoni Meccanica and one of its creditors, Daema Automations Srl.
The court noted that Daema Automations had asked “that the request for approval of the composition plan be rejected, declaring instead the opening of judicial liquidation proceedings against the debtor.”
Marangoni Meccanica subsequently filed its own statement “of withdrawal from the petition for composition with creditors, together with a concurrent petition for opening judicial liquidation in its own right.”
The tribunal found that the company met the necessary requirements for liquidation and that “the state of insolvency clearly emerges from the extensive documentation acquired during the composition procedure.”
The court ordered the company, based in Rovereto (Trento), Via E. Fermi 29, to file within three days its financial statements, tax records and list of creditors.
A creditors’ meeting to examine the liabilities has been scheduled for 15 Jan 2026.
Creditors and third parties with claims have until 30 days before that date to file their submissions.
The judgment is “provisionally enforceable” and will be communicated and published as required by law.
Founded in 1965, in Rovereto, Marangoni Meccanica manufactures machinery for the production/assembly of large tires, particularly for off-road vehicles and agricultural machinery.
