Wobatek to now cover Austria and Poland in addition to southern Germany, Czech Republit and Switzerland
Osnabruck, Germany – Huntsman has expanded its distribution partnership with Wobatek Kunststoffvertriebs GmbH, a German distributor of engineering plastics for industrial applications in Central and Eastern Europe.
Under the new agreement, announced 7 Oct, Wobatek will now distribute Huntsman’s Avalon, Irogran and Irostic TPU products in Austria and Poland, as well as southern Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
Huntsman said the new deal highlighted Wobatek’s expertise in delivering “innovative engineering thermoplastics for injection moulding and niche technical applications.”
The two companies have been working together since 2009, covering southern Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
The extension to Poland and Austria is expected to bring a broader range clients for Huntsman TPUs, said Michael Kolm, sales portfolio manager, specialty elastomers – EAIME.
The materials are suited for a range of applications in speciality elastomers and footwear industry.
