Natural rubber futures ended the final trading week of September mixed but broadly stable, reported Japan Exchange Group (JPX). Far East markets monitored the impact of Typhoon Rai, which JPX said caused “widespread destruction and displacing millions” across southern China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Prices hovered in narrow ranges ahead of China’s national day holidays. SHFE and INE markets will be closed from 1–8 Oct, reopening 9 Oct.
