Management changes to take effect from November through January
Madrid – Michelin Espana Portugal SA has announced a series of management changes at its factories in Valladolid, in northwest Spain, and Aranda de Duero, central Spain, to take effect between November and January next year.
As of 1 Nov, Fran Cardona will assume management of the Michelin Valladolid factory, while Bruno Arias will take over management of the Michelin Aranda de Duero factory starting 1 Dec.
Carlos Abril Barber will take charge of agricultural tire industrial activity at the Valladolid factory, Michelin announced 26 Sept.
Cardona is an industrial engineer and joined Michelin in 2000. He has held roles in industrial organisation, quality and manufacturing at Lasarte, and later led semi-finished product activities at Vitoria. He relocated to the US in 2016 to oversee Michelin’s North American semi-finished goods factories. He was named industrial manager for semi-finished products across the American continent in 2022.
Arias joined Michelin in 2000 and has held positions in organisation, project management and production at Lasarte, Valladolid and Vitoria. Most recently, he served as director of the Valladolid factory.
Barber joined Michelin in 2001 and has worked in various technical and management roles at Michelin’s Spanish factories. In 2018 he assumed responsibility for agricultural tire manufacturing in Valladolid, and since 2022 has managed the Aranda de Duero plant.
