Latest model features Enliten technology, refined tread and extended wear
Nashville, Tennessee – Bridgestone Americas has unveiled the all-new Alenza Prestige, a highway tire for CUVs, SUVs and trucks, designed with a "refined tread pattern" and the group's Enliten technology for improved efficiency and ride quality.
In a 16 Sept statement, Bridgestone said the new tire features “multiple components” of its Enliten technology, including QuietTrack.
QuietTrack, according to the Japanese group, is “an in-groove feature designed to reduce tread pattern noise and is combined with a wide centre rib to deliver “a whisper-quiet ride” with responsive handling.
A new ‘PeakLife polymer compound’ is used to extend wear life, while structural elements have been engineered to balance rolling resistance and durability.
According to Bridgestone, the Alenza Prestige stops up to 6% shorter in wet conditions compared with its predecessor, the Alenza AS Ultra, and up to 4% shorter against a comparable competitive model.
The tire will be available in 47 sizes, covering wheel diameters from 16–22 inches.
Top fitments include Acura RDX, Audi Q7, BMW 3 Series and X5, GMC Sierra, Lexus TX and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
