Appointments to be confirmed by local court at end of September
Hanover – Continental AG is preparing personnel changes on its supervisory board following the spin-off of its automotive arm, Aumovio.
As part of the process, Stefan Buchner stepped down from Continental’s board 4 Sept, to become the new chair of the supervisory board of Aumovio SE.
Meanwhile, Sabrina Soussan will join the Continental supervisory board as the new shareholder representative, with “the local court” expecting to appoint her at the end of September.
She will be nominated for election at Continental’s AGM 30 April 2026, after which the supervisory board is expected to elect her as its chair, said the German group 19 Sept.
She will succeed Prof. Wolfgang Reitzle, who will step down from the Continental supervisory board at the close of the AGM, after 16 years of service.
Soussan has over 25 years pf experience in the automotive and transport sectors, including leadership positions at Siemens Mobility, Siemens VDO and Continental.
Most recently she was CEO and chair of French utility Suez Group.
