BKT steps up OE strategy with new European appointment

Seregno, Italy – BKT Europe has announced the appointment of Paolo Mantovani as head of OEM industrial & OTR Europe, strengthening its OE structure.

Mantovani has over 15 years of experience in the tire industry, having previously worked in the passenger, truck, retread, and off-road segments throughout Europe, BKT said in a 2 Sept statement.

The Indian off-highway tire maker expects the appointment to be “instrumental” in its growth and expansion in the industrial and OTR sectors across key markets.

Mantovani will be tasked with “fostering strong relationships with OEM partners, promoting innovation and supporting BKT’s profitable growth across global markets.”

“We are building a team capable of transforming our strong ambitions into reality at a global level,” said Ludovic Revel, president global OEM at BKT.

As part of the same strategy, Silvia Busnelli has been promoted to head of OEM agriculture Europe, while Melodie Dubreuil has recently joined BKT as OEM technical manager EMEA.

“These decisions place BKT in a uniquely strong position to scale its OE business across all segments — agriculture, industrial, and OTR,” said BKT.

The move, it added, supports BKT’s 2030 strategic plan and will help the group “capture new avenues for growth.”
