Paris – Parker Lord has signed a contract with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) to supply main and tail rotor dampers for the T625 Gokbey helicopter.
The agreement was announced during the Paris Air Show in June and covers the design, manufacture and aftermarket support of dampers for the T625 programme.
The units are intended to reduce rotor-induced vibration, helping to lower maintenance costs and improve ride quality.
Parker Lord is part of Parker Hannifin’s noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) division.
The T625 is a twin-engine, medium-weight helicopter developed by TAI for multi-role use. Applications include search and rescue, medical evacuation, utility work and VIP transport.
“Parker Lord brings deep technical expertise and reliable support to the T625 programme,” said Sunar Oktay, EVP, helicopter presidency at TAI.
The dampers, he said, play “a critical role” in delivering a smooth and stable flight experience to customers.
