Bangkok – Sri Trang Group has announced a new strategic direction involving the “systematic integration” of AI technologies across all business units and the upskilling of its global workforce.
The Thai group claims to be the world’s largest fully integrated natural rubber company and Thailand’s leading rubber glove manufacturer.
By embedding AI into its core processes, Sri Trang aims to continuously elevate efficiency across every aspect of group operations and thereby strengthen its ability to navigate global volatility.
A central focus is “the systematic implementation of AI technologies across all business functions, with a particular emphasis on transitioning the manufacturing sector towards AI-driven production.”
In parallel, Sri Trang has committed to upskilling and reskilling its workforce: “equipping personnel with the necessary competencies and adaptive capabilities to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.”
A particular goal is to cultivate ‘versatile leaders’, described as “highly adaptable, multi-skilled professionals who are ready to lead in the age of AI-driven transformation.”
More broadly, Sri Trang will transition to a culture of ‘development and adaptability, led by empowered people able to drive the organisation forward with greater efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.’
Sri Trang emphasised that it is already “well-equipped with both a capable workforce and robust data infrastructure to support its long-term vision.”
