Hughes to lead Linglong specialty tires division in EMEA

Hanover, Germany – Linglong Tire has announced the appointment of Jeff Hughes as its new regional director specialty tires for Europe, the Middle East and Africa as of 1 June.

In the newly created role, Hughes is responsible for strategy and sales for the specialty tires division in the EMEA region, said Linglong’s 12 June press statement.

He was previously sales director of the European specialty tires replacement business of Maxam Tires (Sailun Group).

Prior to that, Hughes spent over 20 years in various senior management positions at Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Company worldwide.

Hughes holds both a bachelor's and master’s degree in public administration and management studies.

"Our most important task will be to optimise existing customer contacts and develop new customers and thus further strengthen our company's market position," said Hughes.
