Deal aims to support overseas supply integration and European market expansion
Tianjin, China – Chinese automotive supplier Pengling Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with France’s Delmon Group to advance global resource integration and jointly explore international markets, particularly in Europe.
The agreement was signed on 28 May at Pengling’s Tianjin headquarters during a visit by Delmon Group CEO Sylvain Broux.
Pengling president Wang Dong and other senior executives hosted the meeting and jointly signed a memorandum of intent marking the start of a new phase in bilateral cooperation, said a Pengling statement.
According to the Chinese manufacturer, the two companies held in-depth discussions on global strategic collaboration and partnerships in emerging business sectors.
With Chinese car makers increasingly establishing operations in Europe, the companies agreed that modern supply capabilities and technical cooperation across regions are critical to remaining competitive.
The partnership will now move into a “substantive phase,” with both sides working toward “technical collaboration and resource integration to promote breakthroughs and further optimisation in their respective business areas.”
Delmon Group, founded in 1965, provides vibration control and sealing solutions across the automotive, aerospace, rail, and energy industries.
The group operates a sales office in China where it provides flagship products such as automotive chassis anti-vibration components and precision seals.
Pengling has over 30 years of experience in fluid systems, and is focused on lightweighting, electrification, and new energy vehicles.
The company operates seven industrial bases across China.
Pengling described the agreement as "a milestone" in its globalisation strategy, positioning both firms to deliver more integrated products and services to international customers.
