Kraton raises synthetic elastomer prices in response to tariffs

The Woodlands, Texas – Kraton Corp. has announced that it intends to raise the price for its SBS, SIS, and HSBC product lines in North America.

The undisclosed price hike follows a “thorough review of the impact of recently enacted tariffs, associated cost increases, and a determination that we cannot unilaterally absorb these impacts,” said Kraton 15 April.

Stating that it is monitoring the “rapidly changing” environment, Kraton said it would review the action if the circumstances change or the US import tariffs change.

The price increase will be effective from 1 May..
