Trelleborg Sealing Solutions names Jonas Karlsson as new EMEA boss

Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) has appointed Jonas Karlsson as business unit president for 'Industrial Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).'

The newly created role reflects increased business activity in the region and oversees many of the sectors served by TSS including food and beverage, semiconductor, fluid power, energy, off-highway and automotive.

The four regional directors responsible for the Industrial EMEA business will now report to Karlsson, announced TSS 6 Sept.

Karlsson started his career with Trelleborg in 2005 as a segment manager, and has experience in business development, marketing, planning, project management and general management up to board level.

Most recently he was regional director North and East Europe. Prior to joining Trelleborg, he worked as a procurement director and a project manager for two global multinational enterprises.

In his new role, he has been tasked to advance the company’s industrial business in the region, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, said Juergen Bosch, TSS business area president.
