London: Rubber processors were significantly impacted by challenging trading conditions in the first three months of 2024 – results from a selection of major players show.
Pressure on sales and earnings was a recurring theme, with any gains recorded largely being from low- or negative-bases in the same period of last year.
Overall, however, the results had little bearing on share price trends, with investors seemingly more focused on full-year earnings prospects among rubber compound and product manufacturers.
