Hanover, Germany – German rubber extrusion machinery specialist Troester has strengthened its presence in India with the recent addition of a local subsidiary.
‘Troester India Pvt. Ltd’ has been established in Chennai, in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, with a particular focus to grow the group's rubber business in the region.
“India is a steady growing market and is becoming more important for Troester,” said the machinery company's 10 Nov announcement.
“With this new organisation, Troester shows active presence in the local market, especially to provide high quality service to their customers,” the statement added.
The subsidiary, it noted, will help clients strengthen their project management activities and will provide technical support through “experienced supervisors, electricians and software experts.”
Troester has installed more than 45 extrusion units from its rubber business division in India in recent years, adding that 'all Indian tire manufacturers' use the company's equipment across 20 plants.
Having achieved "excellent results thus far,", Troester said its focus will now be on expanding this business area in terms of providing sustainable and innovative service solutions.”
Troester has named Saravana Kumar as the managing director of the Indian subsidiary.
Saravana has been active in the Indian tire industry for over 18 years, according to Troester, and is “well-known among industry partners and customers.”
